Did you vote? I woke-up this morning with the the sole belief that if I did nothing more than vote today I would've completed my civic duty and the world would be a better place because of it.
Well actually the world would be a better place if Patty Murray stayed in the senate, initiative 688 and initiative 692 passed and initiative 694 and initiative 200 failed to pass.
I went to the polls
accompanied by my parents, the place had a healthy flow of voters, yet there wasn't really
any lines and they gave me a sticker.
The polls are closing in a few minutes and then the real fun begins. I've never been as emotionally involved in an election as I am in this one. Yes, I've collected signatures for initiatives and I've tried to sell my parents on various candidates over the years, but if this election doesn't go my way, for the first time ever, I think I'll actually be angry and you can bet on me exercising my right to complain.
The senate race and some of the initiatives are just too important for them to go the wrong way. I'm hoping the democrats are out in full force today, from some of the east coast results that looks to be the trend.
Well, I'm going to go sit in front of the television and watch the poll results.
