Hmmm.... It's been a while since I last wrote.

I graduated Friday! the moment when I walked on stage and heard my name called was the proudest moment of my life to date. it was so incredible it was as if time stood still so that I could appreciate the cumulation of 13 years of education and over 100,000 dollars in state funded education. It was so profound I didn't even hear the crowd as anything more than white background noise, though I was told more than one of my fellow classmates screamed my name:-)

The first week of June was a busy one. I presented this page on the 3rd to 3 wonderful panelists who all gave my project positive marks. everything went well, but it could have been a disaster, perhaps I'll tell the story later. on the 6th I turned 18 with much fan fair. the second week of June I spent all my time assuring graduation. Then Friday I graduated. We, one of my graduating friends and 2 underclassmen, then celebrated until noon the next day. there is a story there too.

I went back to Mountlake Terrace High School Monday and Tuesday and hung out with the high schoolers. I'm alumni now.

I saw the Truman show on Tuesday. That was the best movie I've seen in a long time. Ed Harris is my favorite actor, his performance was brilliant and made the whole piece.

golly, that is it. schools out forever, no not really, but I have a whole summer of absolutely no responsibility. And free education is no more. I'm 18 and for the first time in my life I actually have some money. life is good.

Its almost winter in Australia ;-)
